We are delighted that Bio-nature and Terranova have confirmed their ongoing support for Health Stores UK as official Partners.
Bio-nature is one of the best known names in the independent health channel, with its original roots in health food retailing. Formed by industry stalwart Les Illingworth, the company was taken over by Martyn Illingworth in 2019 when Les retired and has gone from strength to strength under its current owners and directors.
Bio-nature is perhaps best known for its Lemon Myrtle brand, and was the first company to bring a Lemon Myrtle range to the UK. In 2016 the company was approached by Stephen Terrass to distribute his innovative and highly respected Terranova Nutrition range in the UK. More recently Bio-nature has brought Frank Fruities to to the UK and Ireland. A Swiss brand of vitamin gummies with no added sugar, sweeteners or additives, they are made wit real fruit and offer a fantastic natural fruit taste. The latest brand to join the Bio-nature portfolio is Alteya. Alteya is the award-winning organic rose skincare range made in Bulgaria. In the traditional manufacturing process, roses are picked and distilled for their rose water and oil. Alteya will be distributed in the UK and ireland.
John Brear, national sales director at Bio-nature, said: “We are very pleased to support Health Stores UK as a Partner as we believe independent health stores are a vital resource on UK high streets. Encouraging more people to actively participate in self-care is an effective way to help people to better health and wellbeing. Independent health food stores can play a key role in helping consumers make better health choices, and we want to see them thrive now and in the future.”
