Target Publishing donates £2,200 to Health Stores UK

We were delighted earlier this month to receive a generous donation of £2,200 from Target Publishing to support our work championing the cause of independent health food retailing.

The donation follows another successful edition of the NHT Summit in Manchester last month. The event returns in the Autumn for a second year in Bristol (29 September).

Commenting, David Cann, Managing Director, Target Publishing, said: “We are proud of our long and productive relationship with Heath Stores UK and consider the work the association does as imperative to support health stores and further our special industry. That is why with the NHT Summit – an event dedicated to the independent trade – we are delighted to give something back to help them continue their work. We look forward to continuing our association with Health Stores UK for years to come.”

Health Stores UK chair, Len Glenville, said: “The strong turnout out from retailers at this year’s Manchester NHT Summit was very encouraging and positive to see, from a wider health food perspective. It shows that business owners and store staff really value this well-organised and focused event, which is always enjoyable and convenient way to do business, meet colleagues and check out the very latest products and industry trends. The show floor was really buzzing, and we were very pleased to be actively involved with the round-table programme and spreading the word about Health Stores UK! We’re looking forward to the Bristol Summit.”
